Cannes 2013: Grey Melbourne scores Silver Outdoor Lion for “A Place to Remember”

A big congratulations to the team at Grey Melbourne for bagging a Silver Outdoor Lion for their TAC “A Place to Remember” campaign in the Outdoor category!  Check out their award-winning campaign:

As a grim reminder of the road toll in 2012, the team at Grey Melbourne presented a 67m long table complete with 262 empty chairs – each empty place remembers a life lost on Victorian roads in that year. Tributes, safety messages, and images were directed to #aplacetoremember. As the road toll increased, chairs were added. Over the time of the installation, 6 chairs joined the table. Thousands of messages of hope and safety were left at the long table and shared on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
