Mumbai is one of the most crowded and fastest developing cities in the world. But with countless office complexes, malls and residentials towers, there is no play areas allocated for children – more childhoods get buried as more buildings go up.

Grey Mumbai together with NAGAR, an NGO that protects open spaces, decide to convey a simple yet powerful message – Concrete Kills Childhood.

Equipments from playground such as see-saw and slides are built half-buried against the concrete resulting them unusable – to put-forth the simple yet compelling message.

The impressive installations were well-received with people calling as well as notifying through Facebook about illegal constructions across the city.
