Please tell us a little about yourself: your career path, your role at Grey and how has the experience been?

I’ve worked for a Japanese advertisement agency and an advertisement production agency. During the course of my career, I’ve developed advertisement campaigns for major Japanese corporations such as SONY, Calbee, SAPPORO, Nissan, Gulliver and RECRUIT. I joined Grey Group Japan in 2011 and has since then engaged in creative development work for P&G (Pantene and Clinicare), GSK (Polident), MasterCard, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Hakusetsusha (dry cleaner).

It is my believe to always make an effort to generate intuitive ideas and enhance art direction quality.

What sparks your interest in advertising/creative role?

Creation is my life’s work and it is my joy that what I created could move or change the society.

Where do you turn to for inspiration?

I watch or listen to the wonderful works by predecessors in various areas.

Tell us a bit more about yourself outside Grey – What’s your hobby, passion?

My hobby is watching movies and reading books. Comic books are my favorite but I also do enjoy various genres. I like to watch or read anything from the movie, Terminator 2, to Haruki Murakami novels.

Most important question: Apple or Android?

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

I wish there is no unreasonableness in the world as I’ve seen too much of it. But I guess we have to accept unreasonableness to some extent.
