Grey Group Bangladesh wins creative mandate for UCB and BRAC BankAugust 15th, 2013
BANGLADESH, 15 August 2013 – Integrated marketing communications agency, Grey Group Bangladesh has been awarded the creative mandate of two leading banking and financial companies in the country: United Commercial Bank (UCB) Limited and BRAC Bank Limited. The agency clinched the accounts following reviews held earlier this year.
Established in 1983, UCB Limited, a leading First Generation Private Sector Bank, is constantly committed to providing the best financial services and products. With 30 years of experience in the industry, the Bank has already made a distinct mark in the industry through personalized service, innovative practices, dynamic approach and efficient management. UCB handed Grey its creative duties following a review held in February. The win will see Grey roll out nationwide duties for above-the-line strategies, digital services, as well as media planning and buying to manage the corporate image and positioning of the bank. The first campaign is expected to be launched by the first week of September, 2013.
Grey has also won the business of BRAC Bank after a review held in March. Having pioneered the concept of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh, BRAC Bank is the fourth largest SME bank globally and also ranks amongst the top banks nationally that processes remittance from abroad. Grey is now tasked with creative duties for its SME segment, which include rolling out above-the-line campaigns to highlight BRAC Bank’s niche as a bank committed to serving the SMEs. The first campaign has been scheduled to launch by End of October 2013.
